    About a week ago I had an issue with trying to install Apache Spark onto my local device and it caused me to ruin my Environment Variables PATH. I was able to correct this issue with a System Restore however I think it may have caused an issue with my Windows 11 System Update.Apparently when the corruption of my system's PATH variables occurred my computer had already downloaded the newest System Update [2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems KB5053598], but I had not yet restarted and installed the update to my machine.     Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

    Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

    V 10.0 build 10240

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

    I'm unable to install the KB4103721 update on windows 10. I cant shutdown the computer normally, it keeps saying update and shutdown/restart no matter how many times I do it.

    Thins I've already tired:
    • Update and shutdown
    • Update and restart
    • deleted the update from windows/softwaredistribution
    • tried to restore system to before I tried to install it.
