System Constantly Stopping Applications or Crashing Under Graphical Load

    Hello,

I recently built a custom PC and have been having troubles with it since I've started it up. Generally, my PC would shut down an application or even sometimes crash when I'm gaming on it. It particularly happens when there's a lot of graphical load going on such as running a game in high settings or several variables are loading in at once. Before these crashes happen, my screen would either blink black a few times before the program stops, or sometimes my screen will freeze on colorful noise before it restarts itself.

At first, I thought the issue lied with my GPU, but I have switched it out already and the problems still persist. Running stress tests on everything, the CPU and RAM came back with no errors. I also did a quick health check on my M.2, but the disk check said there were no errors with it either.

Tonight, my PC once again crashed when there was a moderate amount of graphical load. This time, I actually got a BSOD. According to my event viewer, the bugcheck was: 0x0000003b. I have uploaded my MEMORY.dmp and my MSinfo32 below.

    MEMORY.dmp: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yPRYp53BqQXRf9-H6qM_CunpdOiejPNh/view?usp=sharing

    MSinfo32: https://drive.google.com/file/d/15qo8asHd_lkWpUTSBJ3qVRe0nonP0os5/view?usp=sharing

My system hardware is as follows:

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900x

    Motherboard: ASRock x570 Taichi

    RAM: T-Force Dark Za 32GB 3600MHz

GPU: EVGA 2080 Super FTW3 Hydro Copper

    Storage: Sabrent Rocket NVMe 4.0 M.2 1TB

My temperatures are stable for my CPU and GPU. The GPU hardly ever goes above 50C and the CPU goes upwards to 50-60C anytime I'm gaming. Is there something wrong with my drivers or is this more of a hardware issue? I still haven't tried swapping out the PSU, but I was just seeing if maybe there's an incompatible or corrupted driver before I try that out.

    :)

How do i stop File Explorer from loading and crashing over and over??

Holy moly! This solution seems to have worked! Two days now without File Explorer driving me insane with it's constant cycling of loading and crashing, loading and crashing. Hoping this is a permanent solution.

    Thanks much for your help.

Two days later and the problem has returned. File Explorer loading on its own and crashing, though not constantly the way it was before.

  3. Computer crashes under heavy graphics load

Fan speed increasing after a crash indicates they weren't receiving sufficient power prior to the crash. Why was that so?Gaming is power intensive and as hardware ages it's efficiency falls and testing components under "no stress" conditions is not always indicative of the real life situation.
Either your PSU is not providing enough power under gaming conditions or possibly the GPU is consuming too much.
I now see you have stated that sfc has shown problems, which now means the above is conditional on the system,Win 10,being problem free.I understood you had previously run the basics, sfc and dism, without any reports.
My suggestions are based on a fault free Win10 system,so should be disregarded if faults are now being found.

    graphic card

    Hi,

There is a possibility that the application you're trying to download is not compatible with the hardware that you have. We suggest that you check the system requirements of the chat application, then see if your device is capable of running the it.

To check the Graphics card information on your device, follow these steps:

    • Press Windows key + R.
    • On the Run box, type msinfo32 then hit Enter key.
    • On the System Information window, click on Components → Display.

Should you need further assistance, we are here to help.
