Windows 10: synaptics - Two finger click to right click not working

Hi,


I have synaptics touchpad installed and even though two finger click is enabled in the synaptics control panel, it still does not allow me to.


It seems it is only that gesture that's not working as two finger scroll works, so does all 3 finger and 4 finger gestures. Literally just the two finger click to right click doesn't work.

I have tried the following:

* uninstalled and reinstalled synaptics drivers

* restarted laptop

* disabled the two finger click option and re-enabled it again


I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 330-15ICH


Any ideas?

Synaptics touchpad V1.2 - no option for one-finger scrolling?


Hello,

I recently bought a Lenovo Y700 running W10. I am trying to get it set up the way I like and cannot find an option to use one-finger scrolling with my touchpad (two-finger scrolling is an option and works just fine).

I am updated to driver 19.0.19.1, but for some reason when I go to Mouse Properties it lists the driver version as 19.0.17.26. I'm not sure if this is related. Here are some screen caps of the driver discrepancy as well as the UI for the mouse, which has no option for one-finger scrolling. How do I enable this?

right-click 2-finger tap not working after Windows 10 upgrade

I upgraded to Windows 10. The 2-finger tap right-click on my touchpad is no longer working. The setting is enabled in the Synaptics/touchpad settings. Driver is listed as up-to-date. I have a Lenovo ideapad touch screen laptop. All other multi-touch features
work fine. I tried downloading the driver manually from Lenovo and it gives me the error "Synaptics device not found!", even when run in compatibility mode or as administrator.

Windows, how can I make the 2-finger R-click function start working again?

Synaptics options from Windows 8.1 not working in Windows 10

This issue may occur due to the outdated Synaptics Touchpad drivers. Let’s try the simple steps and check if it helps.

I would suggest you to download and install the latest Synaptics Touchpad drivers from the manufacturer’s website and uninstall the Synaptics touchpad drivers and re-install the same again in compatibility mode.

Note: Make sure you provide the correct model number of the computer to download the update driver and save the TouchPad driver and installed it before uninstalling the same.

Step 1.

To uninstall Synaptic touchpad drivers, follow these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Locate Mice and other pointing devices and expand the same.
  
• 
  Right-click the Synaptic driver and select
  Uninstall. (Note: keep the latest installed Synaptic driver).
  
• 
  Restart the computer, if prompted.
  

Step 2.

To install the driver in compatibility mode.

• 
  Right-click on the setup file of the driver and select Properties.
  
• 
  Select Compatibility tab.
  
• 
  Check Run this program in Compatibility mode.
  
• 
  Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
