Windows 10: Surface pro X windows on ARM error in instalation of PANGP virtual adapter for global...

During Global protect Version 5.2.4-21 installation on Windows on ARM is error in a log files: "[Debug 337]: Driver install component fails with error 0x800700C1!" and as result no PANGP virtual adapter in device manager. How to install Global protect on Windows on ARM?

Global Protect VPN, PANGP Virtual Ethernet Adapter missing

HI, after upgrade to Windows 10, version 1903 ‎20.‎5.‎2020, I have experienced problem with GlobalProtect VPN.

GP stack on connect button and do nothing. I have noticed that PANGP Virtual Ethernet Adapter missing in device driver list.

I have done several uninstall an install of GP and without success.

The main reason for issue is non existing PANGP Virtual Ethernet Adapter missing in device driver list for my opinion.

After new installation of GP driver does not appear in network driver list.

I have cleaned all from registry related to GP, delete install folder and etc. along with uninstall.

I could not install Hyper V too, from windows feature, after reboot OS roll back to previous state without Hyper V, if it is related to GP problem.

So I need help.

Surface Pro X ships with an ARM processor. Currently ARM processors support only 32-bit programs. You may check the responses here- the marked answer and the link given by Barb that explains the ARM architecture in detail.

Yes, for work needs I suggest going for Surface Laptop 7 or Surface Pro.

However X is going to be a great device in the future when support for ARM64 arrives.
