Successful HDD to SSD clone, but windows still thinks old HDD is primary drive

I have cloned my old 250GB HDD to new 4TB SSD using AOMEI cloning software. New SSD drive boots and I don't seem to have lost any data. My issue is that the old 250GB drive is still showing up as c drive and still in the red as almost completely full. New SSD doesn't show up under "this PC," but shows up in "disk management" as unallocated. Under "Disk Management" new SSD show as Disk 0 in box on the top left, but is divided in two on the longer box with black bar on top. The boxes with black bars are labeled "unallocated." All other drives, internal and external have been disconnected. In sum

    :)

If you clone HDD to SSD and replace old HDD with that new SSD in same laptop it will remain activated..

Real time SSD cloning to my HDD

    Hi Jakov

May I first ask, currently do you have Windows installed on the SSD and your applications installed on your HDD, or are your applications currently installed on the SSD along with Windows?

As far as I know, if you try to clone your SSD onto that HDD, all data on that HDD will be wiped, I don't think you can clone an SSD onto a partition of another drive . ..

Do you ultimately want to put Windows onto the HDD, just have the one drive on your system and connect your EXP GDC to the the MS port?

Restore Image or Clone from HDD to new SSD?

I have a single, non-partitioned (C:\ drive only) 500GB HDD in a desktop PC, using approx. 80 percent of it. I want to install a 500GB SSD, and clone or restore an image of the HDD to it. Once that's complete and successful, I plan to wipe the 500GB HDD
and then move my large libraries of media from the newly installed SSD to it. My future holds lots of video editing and compiling, so the extra storage will help, along with the better performance via the SSD (and upgraded RAM as well).

I'm unable to find after much research a definitive answer as to whether cloning the HDD to the SSD is better than restoring an image of the HDD to the SSD. I've read where cloning will carry over bad sectors and such where imaging will not. I think I'm
leaning toward image restore, keeping a copy of it on an external 1TB drive I have, to which I can periodically do image backups of the new, separate drives.

I'd also like to find a tutorial re: the same. Thanks in advance for any help.
