Windows 10: Stylus and touch screen not working on Lenovo Thinkpad.

So basically this morning, I installed a software update I forgot what it was for and afterwards, the touch screen and stylus stopped functioning.I checked device manager and found that the HID-compliant touch screen was hidden, and there was an issue with the Lenovo pen device. So then I went to IT, and they told me to uninstall the HID-compliant touch screen and Lenovo pen device, and then restart my laptop and it should be working and back in device manager. However, after uninstalling them and then restarting the laptop, the HID-compliant touch screen was still gone. I tried restarting o

Lenovo Thinkpad 8 - Touch not working

Hi

The touch of my Lenovo Thinkpad 8 tablet stopped working after last Windows 10 build update.

I'm able to restore the previous instation and then the touch restarts to work, but if I turn off the tablet and turn it on again it stops working. Every time I turn it on I have to restore the OS.

Any help will be welcome.

Lenovo Thinkpad X230t Tablet Pinch Zoom Not Working on Touch Screen on Windows 10

Googled for hours, until eventually found the solution. Posting this to help others.

After re-installing Windows 10 from scratch, my touchscreen pinch-to-zoom does not work. No zoom happens by touch, only by CTRL + and CTRL - on the keyboard.

PC is a Lenovo Thinkpad X230 Tablet PC with a Touchscreen. It supports multi-touch, and Windows worked with "pinch zoom" before this re-install.

Lots of articles and Superuser.com help says go to Control Panel -> Mouse -> Additional Mouse Options -> Device Settings, but after installing the Lenovo Thinkpad touchpad drivers, the Device Settings is replaced with a Thinkpad tab. Only options available are Touchpad settings, including pinch-and-zoom on the touchpad (not touch screen). There is no way to enable or disable the touch-screen's pinch-to-zoom feature.

Maybe this issue was caused by the order I installed the drivers?

 

My Lenovo Yoga 530 touch screen is not working.

Touch screen only works on stylus and not the finger. I've done all updates, I've reinstalled, disabled and enabled the HID-compliant touch screen but nothing works. One thing that I noticed is when I see the properties of HID-compliant touch screen on
my laptop it stated the location as Lenovo Pen Device. When I uninstall Lenovo Pen Device, the HID-compliant touch screen will be deleted as well. Does this mean that my touch screen is solely dependent on stylus only? Is there anyway that I can get my touch
screen to work on fingers? Please help I am very frustrated rn.
