Windows 10: Strange behavior issues, can't open event viewer, troublshooter, terminal, msconfig etc.

Hi all, So everything started today when i tried play a game. And couldn't start it.Tried to find a problem online and the fix was to repair "easy anti cheat".When tried to run a setup file for it to fix, it opened a setup window and closed after a few seconds.Thought, "OK then" and went to look for updates. Found one for windows and one for win app installer in win app store.No improvement.Went to event viewer, same behavior as with anti cheat. Launches and after 2-3 sec. closes.Downloaded third party event Reader, couldn't install.Tried opening PowerShell through win terminal, same thing.Di

Error in Event Viewer

As you have mentioned, you have performed a repair installation on the computer and you see Event 508, 510 and 533 in Event Viewer.



I would like to inform that if you see any critical error in Event Viewer, please share the event logs with us to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please follow the steps mentioned below to share the event logs:

1. Press Windows + X from the keyboard, select
   Event Viewer.
   
2. Expand Windows Logs from the left pane and select
   Applications.
   
3. Click Filter Current Log from extreme right pane. Then in the new windows check the box beside
   Error and click OK.
   
4. Now, look for a critical Error in the list and note down the message/information from the
   General Tab in the lower section.

Event viewer strange things(?)

Logs can be scanned for problems.
If registry corruption occurs it could have event viewer corruption.
Trial and error steps can be performed when there are backups.

 

Picture viewer with strange behavior

Hello

I'm facing a strange behavior in Windows 10, after the anniversary update.

My current version is 10.0.14393.

When I open a .jpg file, using the standard "photos" handler, the picture is shown properly, but if there is more files in the folder, the application didn't realize that. Trying to use the mouse or arrows, other keys, etc, nothing makes the program to advance
to another photo.

So, I decided to use the standard photo gallery viewer (which resembles the Windows 7 viewer). This program accepts the right/left arrows to go to next/previous pictures, but for my surprise, the pictures appears messed up after going back or forward. The
pictures are not currupted, this occurs with any pictures and the behavior of corruption is more or less random. A piece of one image is not updated and the result in the screen is like the attached picture here.
