    Stop Windows 10 from Weekly Rebooting


    Hello,My PC for work is rebooting at 12:05 AM EVERY Saturday morning, without fail. I have searched every which way I can think of to find an answer and everything points back to Windows Update causing the reboot. I have configured everything I can find in different responses to keep Windows Update from rebooting but it is still rebooting. I had high hopes that removing a Xerox printer that had a driver conflict in Windows Update would have solved the problem but it has not. To repeat, this is NOT a Windows Update thing causing my weekly reboots, there is something else doing this. I have

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
