    Static/Crackling Noise on Beats Solo3


    Hi,I have been having issues with the Solo3 bluetooth headphones. I didn't have this problem when I first got them. I noticed these problems most recently when I am on Google Hangouts, Zoom, or Discord. I noticed that it would split into Headphones Stereo and Headset Hands-Free AG Audio, Communication. Not sure but I believe it used to work properly as Headphones, without this Headset option. The microphone is definitely working if you choose Headset in the audio input settings respectively in each program. In addition to the background static, feedback noise also occurs. By feedback

    Hi,

    To better assist you regarding your concern, we would like to ask some questions:

    • Is the crackling noise affecting the performance of your computer?
    • Which part of your computer do you hear the crackling noise?

    There are many reasons why your computer is having a noise. It can be that your computer's fan or air vent is covered with dust. Cleaning it can help you resolve your concern. It can be that your BIOS is not updated, you can update your BIOS with the help

    Crackling and static noise coming out of the speakers

    Hello,

    Since a couple of days there is a crackling sound as well as static noise coming from the speakers. It is not a hardware issue, as I replaced them with another set, nor a line out cable issue as I tried 3 different cables nor a software one as all drivers
    are up to date.

    When I configure them in control panel as stereo the noise is NOT there.

    WIN 10 X64 updated

    AMD HD Audio Device

    and Microsoft HD Audio device

    Beats Solo3 Wireless problem

    Hello,

    I have a brand new pair of Beats Solo3 wireless headphones. I am able to connect them to my laptop via Bluetooth, but my computer still shows that the sound is coming from the laptop speakers. In addition, when I go to 'manage audio devices' on the control
    panel, it shows that my headphones aren't connected, in contrast with what setting says. Is there any way to remedy this?
