Windows 10: SSD external drive not shown in "This PC" but shown in the Devices

So I had bought a WD Green SN350 1TB SSD, so I want to clone my old SSD and transfer it, then I bought a Fideco M203CS to clone it. But when I put it in my computer using USB, I check This PC and it just show local disk thats all, I check in Device Manager and it did show the external drive but doesnt show my where is it located

External Disk Devices once formated in Windows 10 are no longer shown on the computer.

I have formatted 2 different external disk drives in Windows 10. For one or two times I was able to access these external drives to use for backup. Then one day neither drive was available for access on my computer. I tried to reconnect each drive to
one of the 4 additional USB ports on my computer. Still the same problem. My external disk drives are shown in Device Manager and in Connected Devices, but not shown in Devices and drives in This PC nor in Disk Management. I went to each respective vendor
for support- reloaded their software and still the drives were not shown.

When I did the re-install I had no external drives plugged into the pc and I followed the steps as suggested.

Both C (SSD) & D (HHD) drives are internal and were pre-installed with win 10 on the desktop (HP 750-414).

I had problems with the D drive after clean install not showing under 'this pc'. But it did show in disk management as Disk 1 'unallocated' and in device drives > portable drives as 'F'. I got 'Disk 1' allocated as a simple volume and then renamed as D,
as it now shows under both device manager>Portable devices and disk management, but still not shown under 'this pc'. There is no data shown in D drive, all free space.

I don't know if D was missing before or after the re-install as I didn't notice. I also thought why would D be affected by re-install of C and subsequently only allow me to pick F (and other letters) but no option for D.

HP was unwilling to help and immediately told me, as I stated, my software warranty is void because I have 'retail' OS. Is that true ? I had no clue what he was talking about.

My problem now is what can I do ? Is there a way to get D drive to show up under 'this pc' ? And if so, will it be functional ?

Am I getting correct info from HP about a retail OS ?

CD/DVD drive not shown along with other drives in Windows 10 after recent update

My PC got WINDOWS 10 AUTO updated recently.

But the CD/DVD drive is not shown where as other Drives, C, D E are shown.

I am not able to operate my CD now. On verification, I found that CD/DVD drive is shown in 'DEVICE MANAGER'.

Now, how to bring it to DESK TOP under Devices and make it operate.

Kindly give your advise step by step.
