Windows 10: SRS Premium Sound Application No Longer Listed In Control Panel

Hi,
I had the srs premium sound application on my hp compaq 6300 pro sff desktop once upon a time, there was a listing for it in my control panel now it's missing. I know that I didn't uninstall the software myself, I've looked in program files under my username and it's not listed, I haven't checked in the registry yet. Of course I would like to get that application back because it did make my sound better. Here's my system information:
System Model: HP Compaq Pro 6300 SFF, x64-based PC
System SKU: D8C56UT#ABA
O.S. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Version 20H2, Build 19042.610, Windows Experience Feature Pack 120.2212.31.0

At this point I'm really perplexed as to what happened to this software, I haven't tried performing a system restore to see if that would bring it back or not, I just checked in my system restore area, I have several restore point's I can choose from, I'm always kind of skeptical when I perform a system restore not knowing if I'll create additional issue's for myself. Any help will be so appreciated !

Removing SRS Audio Control Panel / SRS Premium Sound

according to the drp.su site, HWID "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0221&SUBSYS_103C3397" is listed in the HDAHPBPC.inf & HDXHPBPC.INF files. Those INF files seem to not only install the SRS DLL files but also register a bunch of SRS related reg entries in the [SRSInstallerSRS_PS.AddReg] section of those INF files; I do not have the [SRSInstallerSRS_PS.AddReg] section in the HDXCPC.inf and HDXCPCold.inf files since the HWID that I have on my HP computer is listed in a different INF file.

I found an SRS Premium Sound for HP app listed in the "Software - Multimedia" section of the HP Compaq Elite 8300 SFF (Small Form Factor) downloads page and choosing Windows 7 x64 as the operating system on the HP support site [packaged in the sp57738.exe file]. this version of SRS Premium Sound app can actually be installed on virtually any HP/Compaq computer, even on my HP pavilion m8417c computer - the following below are the screenshots of having this version of SRS Premium Sound installed on the Hp m8417c.





notice in this screenshot there's an SRS_PremiumSound_amd64.sys driver file in the \Windows\system32\drivers folder and Device Manager lists SRS Premium Sound in the Sound, video and game controllers section.

Removing SRS Audio Control Panel / SRS Premium Sound

Open File Explorer and check this folder path:

C:\Program Files\SRS Labs\SRS Control Panel

look for SRSPanel_64.exe (if using Win10 x64/64bit) or SRSPanel.exe (if using Win10 x86/32bit).

Installing the SRS Audio Control panel app creates an SRS startup task entry in taskschd.msc (Task Scheduler Library) - delete that and it won't load on startup

I have this installed on my old HP Pavilion m8417c media center desktop PC even though this app does not officially support my model. on the other hand, I have a different SRS/DTS related app listed for my model on the HP driver downloads page years ago (aka. SRS Premium sound for HP speakers), which is supported.
