Windows 10: Something wrong with Windows Hello I can't setup my fingerprint

Before this happened, I had a BIOS update from MyAsus. Everything went smoothly until when I tried to sign in again after the restart, my fingerprint said that it was no longer available, so I wanted to remove it and read it, so I clicked the set up, the Windows Hello popped out, and then I clicked get started, then after I put my PIN it just closes with nothing happend I try doing it again making sure If I put the right and nothing happened the windows hello just closes what do I do?

I have same issue with my laptop HP DV6 Pavilion.WIndows hello finger print setup is not working even after this above solution .When i setup finger print sensor i recieve error something went wrong.

As per the description, I understand that the fingerprint feature does not work on Window10. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the finger print driver and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

Please follow the below steps.

  Delete the fingerprints you already registered.
  
• 
  Press Windows Key + R Key.
  
• 
  Then type “devmgmt.msc” and press
  Enter.
  
• 
  Uninstall the current driver
  the current diver under "Biometric devices".
  
• 
  You maybe have to click the "discover new hardware" symbol in the device manager.

Windows Hello Fingerprint Setup not working

Thanks Scott for reply after 6 hour struggle I got my Windows hello back.it is showing fingerprint sign in option in Windows hello but when I setup fingerprint print sensor using Windows hello it gives error something went wrong try again setup .In device
manager I checked my bio metric device status.it says it's properly working .Any solution for my problem?
