Windows 10: "Something Went Wrong" error when trying to reset PIN on Laptop. Can't login.

Hi All.Long story short a coworker was terminated and I came into possession of his laptop. It's a Razer Blade Pro running Windows 11 Home. I created a work microsoft account and set a PIN for it. Stupid because I immediately determined it was less powerful than the PC I had and they've since upgraded me to an Aurora desktop anyway. However. I don't remember the PIN I set. The microsoft account tied to my work email was then deleted by me because it wasn't needed anymore.We now need the PC for a presentation later this week, and I can't get into the computer. I try to reset the PIN.

Received error code 0x80280013 when I try to login with my pin

When I try to login with my pin, I receive error code 0x80280013 something went wrong and your pin isn't available. When I tried to change my pin it says we weren't able to setup your PIN. You can try again, or skip this step and set up a PIN later. When I click skip for now, it sends my back to the lock screen. I'm not given any other option to sign in other than using my PIN, No option to use my password. Can't login to my Laptop at all.

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.
