Windows 10: Something happened to my SSD, now the pc wont boot into windows and intel boot agent says...

Something happened to my SSD, now my pc doesn't recognised it as a boot drive. The intel boot agent says "Initialising and establishing link" then Media test failure check cable exiting intel boot agent insert system disk in drive press any key when ready.....I installed AOEMI Partition assisstant, to merge a partition of the boot drive to the main boot drive. It restarted my pc and started to do it, but half way through it stopped and shut down the and now the SSD is not being recognised as the boot drive but the Toshiba BIOS recognise the samsung 128GB drive. My PC specs : pcDynabook Tosh

ssd sata wont boot with windows

im using windows 10 yesterday i acquired a new ssd m2 i installed it but after boot the windows wont boot, after checking bios i can see all my storage disks two m2 ssd, one hdd but i cant see the sata ssd with windows on and my pc wont boot, it says bootable device not found

pc worked fine until i installed the new ssd m2

motherboard is tuf b550 plus

 

Intel Boot Agent GE v1.3.21 Reboot and Select proper Boot device after recent Windows update

It was third Windows update in 3 days, working PC restarted by itself with yet another update and now I have:

Intel Boot Agent GE v1.3.21

...

PXE-E53: No boot filename received

PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel Boot Agent.

Reboot and Select proper Boot device

or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key

I cannot control Windows updates, whenever I left computer for 10 minutes it restarts with some urgent updates almost every day. And now that. I choose proper drive where Windows installed and the same message again. What should I do? Fix MBR?

PC: Gigabyte H170-Gaming 3, Intel i5-6600 CPU, OCZ 240 GB SSD as boot drive.

 

Unable to boot Windows after cloning it to SSD

I understand that you are facing issues while booting the PC after cloning Windows to new SSD. I would like to know what happens when you try to boot the PC to desktop using SSD?



The reason you are not able to boot the PC is that the files required to boot Windows are still recognizing the HDD as the main drive. I would suggest you to try rebuilding the BCD files and see if you are able to boot the PC using
SSD.



Kindly follow the steps below to rebuild the BCD.

1. Create a bootable media and boot the PC using the media.
2. On the Install Windows screen, select Next >
   Repair your computer.
3. On the System Recovery Options screen, select
   Troubleshoot> Advanced options > Command Prompt.
4. Now type in the commands and hit enter: BOOTREC /FIXMBR
   
   BOOTREC /FIXBOOT
   
   BOOTREC /scanos
   
   BOOTREC /rebuildbcd
5. Restart the PC.

If the issue persists, please get back to us with the results of the troubleshooting steps to assist you further.
