I've experienced some BSOD after installing and playing EA games Battlefield 2042 on my PC recently, which I doubt some drivers or game software anticheat conflict... Then I tried to look into Event Viewer, browsing through online and tried to troubleshoot the issue update driver, scannow, memorytest, virus scan, clean the dust... 2. Help troubleshoot BSOD error

Thank you very much for reaching out! As an Independent Advisor and fellow Microsoft user, I'm more than happy to assist you.

I need to ask just a few questions. Have you made any changes to your system lately? Did the BSOD start happening recently? What's the make/model of your device? In the meantime, I suggest you do the following. Feel free to skip the steps you've already tried:

    1. Run Memory Diagnostics:
      • Press Windows + R, type mdsched.exe, and press Enter.
      • Choose to restart now and check for problems.
    2. Run SFC, DISM scans:
      • Open Command Prompt as an administrator.
      • Run the following commands:

      • It may take some time to complete.

Please let me know if you run into any problems!

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Some Recent BSODs Troubleshoot Help Required

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond Some Recent BSODs Troubleshoot Help Required :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
