Windows 10: [SOLVED] RODE-NT USB microphone not being recognised

I recently got a RODE-NT USB microphone, to replace a different USB mic that I've never had trouble with. When I plug the microphone into my laptop HP envy, it doesn't appear in my devices, and device manager says "USB device not recognised". I've tried uninstalling the driver and restarting my laptop, but it still hasn't fixed the problem. I've seen some people have success in fixing this by plugging it into the USB 3.0 port instead of the USB 2.0 port, but for some reason my laptop doesn't even recognise that a device has been plugged in if I use that port with my mic - I'm not getting the USB plug in sound with my mic, but I am with other USB devices? I checked my USB 3.0 drivers and they're all up to date.



I've tried using the mic on another computer and it worked, so I'm sure it is something to do with my laptop, but I have no idea what the problem is, let alone how to fix it. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Low USB microphone recording volume Rode NT-USB Windows 10

I have a Rode NT-USB Microphone that was working just fine on Windows 7 and then we updated to Windows 10 here at vdci/cadteacher San Diego, California and the NT-USB has low USB microphone recording volume. I tried all the troubleshoots and called Rode
here in Long Beach, also Microsoft and they said to contact Rode. At a loss here and feel that Rode need to contact Microsoft to resolve the issue. I need to record some VO in the studio and not have the talent clipping the Mic since I have to max out the
volume to get any frequency reprocess. PLEASE Help

 

RODE NT-USB | Usb device not recognized

Hello, when I started my computer i got a message the Usb device is not recognized for my RODE NT-Usb its a microphone.

I tried everyting like going in the device manager uninstalling the plugins and reinstalling and also updating it and updating the root hubs .

And nothing works .

pls help me this is urgent

New Windows 10 laptop not recognising RODE Podcaster microphone

Hey there,

I recently purchased a new HP Pavilion laptop, running Windows 10 as standard. I have downloaded Audacity but the laptop appears to not be able to recognise my RODE Podcaster microphone, which was working fine on my previous laptop. After much Googling,
I've become even more confused as there appear to have been a number of issues with audio devices on Windows 10. I've downloaded the ASIO4ALL drivers as recommended by RODE but that doesn't seem to have done anything. Any help much appreciated - not much of
a tech head.
