I had a prior version of solidworks installed last year but had to uninstall due to it failing to update. When uninstalled the program essentially fragmented and was the most unclean uninstall that I have ever seen. I had cleaned my whole registry of all solidworks related files and all other program information from my computer. The only thing that will not go is this SOLIDWORKS-DTS.evtx. I have disabled the windows events manager then deleted the affected event file for it to just come back. I even did this in safe mode a while back and to no avail. I have attempted some other ways to disable and delete the event but to no avail. I am attempting to avoid a reimage due to a large volume of important files for university and the headache it would be to upload them then redownload it all.
