Windows 10: Snowball Microphone recognized but not working

I recently acquired a blue snowball ice microphone and despite it being recognized, it won't pick up any sound whatsoever. I'm on windows 10 and I've ensured that the privacy settings aren't preventing it on that front. Additionally, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers in both audio input/output in the device manager and the sounds and game controllers section. At this point I'm wondering if I have to do a fresh install of Windows 10 considering the issues I've had with microphones.

Blue Snowball Microphone not Recognized by PC

I bought my Blue Snowball Microphone in April, and it worked fine until June. Then, for some reason, when I would go to plug it in, I would get an error message that says "USB device not recognized." I tried troubleshooting it with the built-in troubleshooter
for hardware and devices and it told me that it had found and fixed the problem and prompted me to restart my computer. I restarted my computer, and it still didn't work. When I went into Device Manager, the microphone is simply showing up as a USB, not as
a sound, video, or game controller. I attempted some of the fixes from the following link,

but none of the ones I tried worked, as most of them were contingent on the device at least being recognized as a recording device. I also can't figure out how to manage my recording devices.

Blue Snowball USB Microphone doesn't work after upgrading to Win10

I had this same problem tonight using a Blue Snowball I bought about 4 years ago. I hadn't used the PC for recording since I upgraded to Windows 10 but tonight I was using Audacity to record something and it would not recognize the Snowball. In the device
manager it showed the Snowball driver and an error message underneath.

Maybe the Force is with me tonight, but I simply uninstalled the driver, unplugged the Snowball, refreshed and plugged it back in. Same error message. Went through those steps one more time and it loaded without the error message and is recording just fine.

Now under Audacity it used to say "Snowball" in the recording device where now it says "Microphone (2 - USB Audio Class). But whatever, it's working and I didn't even have to kick the tower.

Since the error persist when trying to use the microphone on a different device and a different microphone work correctly on your computer, we suggest that you refer to the Blue Snowball microphone manufacturer to assist you better.
