Windows 10: 'Show Desktop' button is not working properly!

I have waited a LONG time reporting this since the beginning of this Windows 10 era this button often does not react on the first few clicks. I have to really pound it several times for the desktop to show. This is very frustrating since I work fast and want to keep the momentum.If you can not improve the button by making it react faster, at least bigger then like in Windows 7 have the possibility to creat e a shortcut to that action. This work tremendously well in Windows 7 because I used it all the time and it was instant and reliable.Thank you in advance.

Show desktop button failing

If you rt click the tasbar, does clicking 'Show Desktop' work?

How about Win key + d?

Make sure this is on:




One source suggests this to reregister the dll
regsvr32 /i shell32.dll

Otherwise, as you say it's not working any more, do you have either
- a system restore point
- a disk image
you created before this happened?

So far, I like 11 with one exception. I like a clean desktop and, in the past, have hidden desktop icons and used a button on the taskbar that showed a list of them. I would then click on the one I wanted. Very clean and neat. That button seems to be gone. I am not referring to a minimize windows and show desktop icon. Any workaround would be appreciated.

 

Dongle is working properly but showing no internet

Just to clarify, are you using a WiFi dongle to connect to the internet instead of the built in WiFi adapter of your device? Or are you using a desktop PC and is the WiFi dongle to connect to the internet? For now, what we can suggest is to follow all of
