Windows 10: Shell Infrastructure Host High CPU Usage

Hello all,Currently running into some issues with Shell Infrastructure Host sitting at 50% cpu usage. I have uninstalled the photos app and run maintenance tasks. Have also tried scanning for corrupt system files. Due to the usage of the pc, I will be unable to restart it for some time. Any suggestions?Thanks!-Ethan

Shell Infrastructure Host has been using about 50% cpu usage and total cpu usage is 100%

Hello, im using a windows 10 laptop, and i restored it to a previous system restore point. Since then Shell Infrastructure Host has been using about 50% cpu usage and total cpu usage is 100%. How can i resolve this issue? Restarting has not helped.

Photos Album indexing can be responisible for higher resource usage sometimes.

As for alternatives- there are plenty.. it becomes a matter of personal choice:

Windows 10 start button not working, shell infastructure host with high cpu usage

The upgrade process has completed with no apparent change to the current situation. Windows start icon does not respond, troubleshooting and control panel are not list w/ right click, no taskbar icons appear with start and/or restart, shell infrastructure
host still running high cpu usage but if the process is stopped the taskbar icons do appear but do not always function as expected. I notice also that if I do stop the shell infrastructure process a process that normally runs with startup seems to proceed
with the startup execution. - where do we go from here ????
