Windows 10: Sharing problems on home wifi network with Windows 11.

Windows 11. I need to transfer files from an old computer running Windows 10 to my new computer Windows 11 using my home WIFI network. I had trouble setting up the sharing feature on both and now it seems like I'm locked out of access to the old computer when on File Explorer on the Windows 11 machine. The old computer icon appears on the network of the new computer File Manager. I have administration privileges for both computers and I repeatedly tried to reset the "sharing" parameters on both computers, which goes well, but the message I get on the new computer is that I've been locked ou

Windows won't forget WiFi network

I have 3 old Wifi networks that I want to get rid of in the list of networks. All devices show them in the WiFi list and when i click Forget, they come right back. When I go to Manage networks in Settings, they're not there, but still show in the list on every device. How can I get rid of them?

Block File sharing in Wifi network, Windows 10

As per the description, I understand that you want to block file sharing on your Wi-Fi network. I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Right click on Start and select Control Panel.
• Change the view type to Large Icons.
• Click on Network and Sharing center.
• In the left navigation pane, click on Advanced sharing center.
• In the right pane, under Files and printer sharing, select the option:
  Turn off file and printer sharing.
• Restart the system and check for status.
