  1. SharedLibrary.dll & mrt100_app.dll was not found when trying to open an installed...

I've installed the Readit client via the AppX package. After undergoing many absolutely unnecessary difficulties I've managed to download all the dependencies required for the installation to complete successfully.

I installed the following dependencies via the .appx files :

    1. Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4_1.4.24201.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe.Appx
    2. Microsoft.Advertising.Xaml_10.1811.1.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe.Appx

    After that I installed :

    1. 57858MessageAcrossStudios.Readit_6.1.9.0_x86__nts9jg5frnds0.Appx

I used the PowerShell commands :

    Add-AppxPackage -Path "Microsoft.NET.Native.Runtime.1.4_1.4.24201.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe.Appx"

    Add-AppxPackage -Path "Microsoft.Advertising.Xaml_10.1811.1.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe.Appx"

    Add-AppxPackage -Path "57858MessageAcrossStudios.Readit_6.1.9.0_x86__nts9jg5frnds0.Appx"

To see possible errors. Installing the dependencies resulted in a successful installation of Readit without errors.

It appeared in my Start Menu but after I clicked on it Readit refused to run so I searched for "Readit.exe" in Everything and found it's location at :

    C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\57858MessageAcrossStudios.Readit_6.1.9.0_x86__nts9jg5frnds0

After I ran "Readit.exe" with administrator privileges I got two errors saying :

    1. The code execution cannot proceed because SharedLibrary.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
    2. The code execution cannot proceed because mrt100_app.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

I tried searching for the solution but only found a post saying you should install the latest .NET Framework on your machine but after running the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7 installer it informed me that it's already installed on my system.

Please note : Using the original Microsoft Store is not an option.

Am I missing something? I can't understand what is the problem that results in this error. Thanks for any help with this it will be much appreciated!

    mrt100_app.dll not found

    To Time Lady and others

I want to hold off on your suggestion. I just upgraded to Windows 10 home version. The issue is the same after the upgrade.

I just found that I cannot open pictures with the default windows 10 app for doing so. I ran SFC Scan again with negative results. Finding more and more programs not working for various reasons. Almost all Microsoft related in one way or another.

    Oh Boy!
