Windows 10: Setting up Mail on Windows 10 for TalkTalk.net account

Could someone show me the correct steps to set up a talktalk.net e-mail on the generic windows 10 mail app have tried a number of settings and configurations without success. have successfully set it up before in Windows 7 and now on Ipad & iphone with no trouble. Can someone please help

Talktalk and Onetel Server Settings for Vista Home Premium.

I still using a Vista Home Premium laptop with Windows Mail and Talktalk and Onetel email accounts. These worked fine until Talktalk made changes to their server package recently.

Now I can send emails but cannot receive any on either account. The server settings given by Talktalk do not work.

Are there any Talktalk users having the same problem who have managed to find server settings that work?

I get the following error for Talktalk but no error for Onetel.

Account mail.talktalk.net. Server
mail.talktalk.net Protocol POP3 Server Response - ERR(AUTH). Authentication failed - Port 995, Secure(SSL):Yes, Server Error 0x800CCC92.

Incidentally, I notice from another post in 2015, it was suggested that Vista did not have Windows Mail. Mine came with it.

 

After recent update mail will not sync with talktalk

Select PROPERTIES: What is the CREATED date displayed on the resulting GENERAL tab?

7. When (exact date) does your current
Bullguard Internet Security subscription (or 60-day free-trial period) expire?

talktalk mail on nokia n8

Hi all

uptill a few weeks ago i had no problems using the mail app to access my talktalk mail then it just stopped working. have tried re-entering all info, have now tried everything including a restore factory settings,(soft and hard reset)

Now when i try to load

4.You will be prompted if there is no defined mailbox, select "Yes"

6.Select "Start"

7.Chosse your ESP if not included from the list, select "Other

just get message

'unable to connect with information provided try again'

Have tried the app with a hotmail account and it works fine

Now at my wits end anyone with any ideas please
