Windows 10: Select proper boot device

Hi pls help me so I was just trying to restart my pc to update my windows and all of a sudden it just turned to the error screen and it says "reboot and select proper boot device", how do I fix this? Did I do smth wrong? Do I need to replace anything? Pls help I need this pc for school and gaming

Hi, I recently built a new PC with a 1TB Samsung 860 EVO SSD. I'm installing Windows 10 via USB and I've made the USB top priority in the boot list. However, when I exit BIOS, It gives me an error saying "Reboot and Select proper boot device or insert
boot media in selected boot device and press a." Is their a solution to this?

What happens when you select the hard disk as the priority and then try booting from the BIOS screen?

I suggest you to try performing a Startup repair to check if it helps.

Perform a Startup Repair on the system

Create a Windows 10 installation media and perform a Startup Repair on the device and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
This is an alternate way to boot the device and run recovery tools when something goes wrong with the Operating system.

Please follow the steps below to do Startup repair:

Steps:-

• Insert the installation USB drive and boot Windows 10 from it.
  
  If you don't have one, you can Create an installation Media.
• In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’
  and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.\
• Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.
  
• Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Startup Repair’
  and select the operating system.
