I am trying to update Windows 10 and I can get Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2538243) to download but it won't install.

My questions are:

Do I need this update?

If not, then how do I get rid of it and stop Microsoft from downloading it and trying to install it?

I've tried numerous things and nothing seems to work.

Those 2 seems to install fine
