Windows 10: Security Intelligence Version Won't Update or Install

My current Security Intelligence Version is stuck at


version 1.233.435.0

I've tried everything outlined on this page and it does absolutely nothing

I've tried updating the intelligence definition in windows update, windows security, command prompt/triggering an update, manually updating the download upon which running the downloaded file it just doesn't open or do anything right click running as administrator ..... hitting check for updates it just gives me dots and does nothing... only to say everything is up to date and bother me again when the computer is restarted saying definitions are out of date.


I've tried manually installing it via CMD.... NOTHING. I've tried doing this is safe boot with network,tried doing an offline security update....nothing is changing this.


Even ran an sfc /scannow and tried during a clean boot...and nothing is making this change.


Curiously enough I'm unable to finish a quick scan on virus threats either as it just stalls after 5000ish files scanned and doesn't finish...even after waiting hours just hinges incomplete with 3 seconds left in the time remaining. Any help here?


So I'm unable to run scans or update the security intelligence. I've run check disk and have ZERO ERRORS>
