    secure boot problem


    hello, i have an asus laptop with window 11 installed in it,aftera certain periord of time my laptop shows a message of voilating secure boot, when we go in bios it shows that my laptop is installed with 2 oprating systems in it, ubunto and window, but i didn't ever tried to install ubounto in my laptop. it keeps work smoothly whenever i delete ubunto oprating system for a month or two. i have a doubt that someone have virtual acess of my laptop

    Windows 8 Secure Boot Feature: Not So Secure?

    So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

    Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

    I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
