    SD Card Not Detected In Windows 11/Anywhere


    Hi. It seems I've trawled the whole of youtube for an answer and checked a number of webpages - but I cannot find the solution to this SD Card not being recognised in Windows 11.What I must first say is that I tried a different SD Card in the reader and it worked fine, so it's not the reader or drivers or anything like that. The problematic SD Card is not physically damaged either. What happened was that I tried a data transfer to the pc from a phone that the SD Card was inside of, and the process hung for ages meaning I had no option but to hard reset the pc task manager would not allow me t

    Hi,

    You may try the following steps:

    • Try to remove the SD card and insert it again, make sure it's seated well without using too much force.
    • If it still does not recognize the SD card, you may try to connect your SD card to PC via a card reader and format.
    • Try using a different SD card and check if your Lumia 635 will recognize it.

    SD card detection.

    Well Disk Management just wouldn't load with the SD card reader plugged in. Disk shows as 0 bytes from This PC:

    SD Card Not Detected In Windows 11/Anywhere

    SD card detection.

    I have a micro SD card that my phone detects and can access but when I plug it into the PC with a USB/SD card reader the PC can't open it. It appears in My PC as a drive but with no space consumed bar on it. When I double click to open the PC hangs and sometimes loses it's screen. What could be the issue?
