Windows 10: Screen goes white in-game when playing Shadowrun.

When in the main menu and setting up the game, it's fine, but when I load a game, it loads with a transparent white screen. It occasionally flashes to the normal screen for half a second. My PC specs arerocessor: IntelR CoreTM i3-10100 CPU @ 3.60GHz Installed RAM: 16.0 GB 15.8 GB usable System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPERI've tried running it in compatibility mode, running it in fullscreen/windowed, running a troubleshooter, and changing every video setting in-game. Hi,

It seems this issue is caused by playing the game using newer graphics cards It started in the N900 card range by the look of it

There are quite a few Shadowrun Pink screen videos out there showing the issue.

There is also an unofficial fix. But as that fix is not from MS it means you might get banned

from Live for adding the folder.

I know this is a game from 2007 but it would be nice if Microsoft could release an official version of the fix especially as Shadowrun 360 in now backwards compatible on Xbox One meaning that the online community is growing again.

While the game menus start, everything is running fine, including the main trailer/introductory video. But the screen turns to a white tint when actually starting a match. It almost looks like someone cranking up the gamma setting. Occasionally the screen
may glitch back and forth momentarily with the white tint gone and a perfect/correct display, but majority of the time it stays in the white tint fog display. Game never crashes, in fact you can continue playing it smoothly, it just looks like you're inside
of a very dense fog with the occasional glitch during gameplay fixing the problem by itself momentarily and ultimately reverting back to the fog like screen coating. Tried many suggestions to fix this video problem as others have experienced this too but
no solution was found. To clarify, I'm talking about the game "Shadowrun" made by Microsoft Game Studios/Fasa Studio back in 2007. This is the only game I have issues with, and I have almost 300 games installed on my system, including others that still require
the use of the now outdated Games for Windows Live. This game is unique in that it supports cross platform play, so I played it in the past on an older PC while my brother played it on Xbox360 and we could play together over the internet on multiplayer.

Currently using:

Origin built PC

Windows 10 64bit home edition

Intel 6500

16GB RAM

NVidia 780Ti

All drivers are up to date as of August 12 2016, including the recently released Windows 10 update which fixed video problems with a different game called "Kane & Lynch - Dead Men", but unfortunately not for "Shadowrun". Even tried to force different 3D
settings using nVidia control panel settings for that specific program, but all results are the same. Tried setting the shadowrun.exe to all the different compatibility settings to no avail.

This is literally the last game in my library I need to find a fix for to complete my working game collection so any help is appreciated. It seems like this is a possible driver issue, but since the Microsoft update fixed another game I have, I can't put
blame on nVidia, especially since others have posted this problem years ago without finding a fix.

What monitor are you using? Asus monitors offer GamePlus which would throw up a crosshair. Please fill in your system specs
