Windows 10: Screen flickers black at full brightness

My screen flickers black at full brightness or when it is somewhere over 80%.

For all those people who face this error please find below the easiest solution for this error.

1. First of all click on the Catalyst Control Center.
   
2. Now click on ‘3D Application Settings’.
   
3. All you have to do is change the ‘Wait for Vertical Refresh’ option to ‘On, unless application specifies’.

Sadly, Screen Flickering is mostly a hardware so you probably have to visit a service center.

That doesn't necessarily mean that the LCD needs replacement. Sometimes just replacing the LCD cable can do the job.

Meanwhile, you can try these tricks to reduce flickering:

• Use a black background with white fonts.

On black backgrounds, the flickering is less visible. Luckily, Lumia's support this settings. In addition, most apps on the store support black backgrounds.

2. Keep brightness to auto. High brightness makes flickers more visible.

3. Go colors+display under settings and test a few combinations unless the flickering is minimum.

4. Don't use phone when charging.
