Windows 10: Screen Flickering in HDR mode

As soon as I switch on HDR in windows settings it causes my screen to flicker. It wasn't always like this it happened after I installed an enterprise driver for my display but even after resetting my whole pc the issue still persists. I have tried everything from uninstalling all drivers and installing new ones but nothing seems to work.My laptop is a hybrid, i.e. has onboard graphics and a separate GPU. also I believe my display comes through the AMD Radeon GPU If I remove the driver from device manager and restart my laptop it helps for a second but then starts to flicker again.

I haven't made any changes on my device. This screen flickering is only happening in Safe Mode.

I understand your query. I suggest you to follow the steps to get out of safe mode.

• 
  Press Windows key + R
  
• 
  Type msconfig
  
• 
  In msconfig > Boot tab >
  Boot Options > uncheck Safe Boot > APPLY / OK.
