    Scannerdriver: 1004 error upon CD/DVD install of Brother MFC-J895DW AIO Printer Software...


    Has anyone experienced the subject error when installing a Brother MFC-J895DW AIO as a Network Only printer on a WIN10-64bit desktop PC? The error consistently occurs even if I download the Brother software and driver from the Brother Support website. I also installed this printer on my laptop running the exact same OS with NO errors. So, it seems that my Desktop OS may be a contributing factor!


    Previously I was using an Epson XP-830 AOI until it failed. I have uninstalled all the Espon software and drivers before installing the Brother MFDC-J895DW AIO. Any help in resolving this error on my Desktop OS would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Brother MFC J6720DW listed with strange icon in Devices and Printers

    I have reinstalled the drivers for my Brother MFC J6720DW and now the printer icon is listed in the unspecified category instead of the printer category. The printer is the "Device" icon to the right.

    Right clicking on the icon shows the usual items for a printer (printing properties etc.), In addition it shows a "Browse Files" entry that lists the card reader of the printer.

    To the left of the Brother printer icon there is another similar one that seems to be my USB card reader

    I have a laptop ASUS model no- E202S & OS- Windows-10, 64 bit but I can't install brother MFC-7360 software in my laptop. In final stage option is coming to connect the printer & switch on & waiting long time but not proceeding next. I can't install the
    software from CD because this laptop no have any DVD drive.

    Please suggest me how I can able to install that software for using the printer.

    Printer installation Brother mfc-L5900

    Hello,

    I have two older computers and an older Brother MFC printer. I purchased a new Brother MFC-L5900 and tried to install the software, however, it was not compatible with Window 7. So I then install Windows 10 to both computers. I also went to the Brother
    website and install the print driver to both computer. I was able to get one of the computers to print but the other wont let me print. I did a wireless setup for the printer, but keep getting an error message every time I print. I run the diagnostic tool
    and it finds nothing. The computer recognizes the printer but it wont let me print a test page. Any Idea anyone.

    Your help would be appreciated
