Windows 10: Samsung printer drivers not working on win 11.

Hi All, upgraded my machine fully and installed win 11 pro. Now after many driver downloads install and uninstall, paying 3 different it Pro's to try and fix it and many hours later, ZERO satisfaction, my printer still dont print, can scan and thats its a samsung printer xpress m2675f. and then microsoft says 11 is more carbon aware. downloaded all the drivers from Hp who took over samsung. universal drivers etc. just cannot update firm ware of printer? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Trying to connect to a printer that is physically on a Win 10 computer from a Win 11 computer to no avail.

1. Make sure that the printer is shared on the Win 10 computer. To do this, go to the printer properties on the Win 10 computer and check the box next to “Share this printer” in the Sharing tab.
   
2. Ensure that the printer is visible to other devices on the network. To do this, go to the printer properties on the Win 10 computer and check the box next to “List in the directory” in the Sharing tab.
   
3. Try disabling any firewalls or antivirus software temporarily on both the Win 10 and Win 11 computers to see if that resolves the issue.
   
4. Check if the printer is compatible with Windows 11. You can check the manufacturer’s website for the latest drivers and software for your printer.
   
5. Try connecting the printer to a different USB port on the Win 10 computer.
   
6. If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting the printer to its default settings and then setting it up again.

To be sure that you followed my suggestion correctly, I will specify some steps: CP>devices and printers>add a printer>the printer that I want isn't listed>add a local printer with manual settings>define port>Windows update and install

 

WIN 10 ver 1703 and Samsung printer not working

Updated to WIN 10 ver 1703 and now my Samsung 2820 printer won't work. I've been through all the troubleshooters to no avail.

SETTINGS | PRINTERS & SCANNERS says Samsung 262X 282X Series Driver is not available.

I can still print from my phone, so I know the printer works. Has to be an issue with ver 1703 update.

HELP!!
