Windows 10: Sample Rate Is Not Letting Adobe Audition Work

So recently, Adobe Audition for some reason started not to work. Last time i used it was like 3 months ago and it worked find and I've had used it ever since and even then it would work find. During this week, it hasn't been working at all and at first, I thought it was the mic, it's a hyper x mic btw. Anyway, thing is, it popped up that my sample rate is not the same and I've tried changing it but my speaker is all grayed stuck at 24 bit, 48000hz, while for my recording I can change it but it can only go up to 2 channel, 16 bit, 48000hz. Ive tried everything and this is my last resort so if

I'm Paul, a fellow customer like you & an Independent Advisor. To answer your question, there's no facility in Windows for this, but there are 3rd party tools like FFmpeg or Adobe Final Cut to enable the change. Kindly refer to these links below or contact

Sample Rate on Microphone

Please note that Windows cannot give your microphone something it does not already have. If your microphone has the ability to select sampling rates, you'll see a control for that on the microphone or in the software that came with the microphone. By itself,
changing a setting in Windows does not change your microphone's sampling rate.

If your microphone can select its sampling rate, keep in mind that higher sampling rates are more processor-intensive and result in larger files (when saved.)

 

audiodp.exe and sample rate

I cannot change the sample rate in my recording interface because I get message that audiodp.exe is on and this will not allow sample rate change please advise
