    I saw this in my Advanced Security Settings for WindowsApps checked the access status it was 'Read & Execute' but I could not change it or delete it and was all grayed out. Can anyone tell me what is this "S-1-15-3-1024-3635283841-2530182609-996808640-1887759898-3848208603-3313616867-983405619-2501854204" I am doubting that this may be a malware or some virus? please give me idea whatever is this..Cedie

    A strange 'principal' in c:\Program Files\WindowsApps

    There is a 'principal' named:

    S-1-15-3-1024-3635283841-2530182609-996808640-1887759898-3848208603-3313616867-983405619-2501854204

    which has a permission type of 'allow' and read and execute access.

    Any ideas what this is? Do I need to delete it?

    Deleted WindowsApps folder and now I cant boot!

    If it does work, do an in-place upgrade. The WindowsApps folder has some odd permissions but repair install should fix them if you can boot at all... Code:

    Help!

    Before I did a PC reset (a clean wipe), I noticed a PNG file that had a picture of all 4 monitors combined. I then called my buddy who works IT and he said to fully reset the computer. SO I did that, and then I noticed when looking at files, trying to clear them from my external, I saw this "S-1-15-3-1024-3635283841-2530182609-996808640-1887759898-3848208603-3313616867-983405619-2501854204". They are labeled as a user that has the power to "read&Execute". I just looked the exact thing up {S-1-15-3-1024-3635283841-2530182609-996808640-1887759898-3848208603-3313616867-983405619-2501854204} and it came back to the possibility of installing something and getting passed the windows security and not having a problem. How can I remove their access entirely from my computer so I do not have to worry? (the screenshot was taken before the reset, it did include my face as I was in a Discord call with my buddies)
