Windows 10: run.vbs Script Error Message randomly comes at startup

Recently I have started experiencing this pop-up on startup. I tried various fixes mentioned online, but they didn't seem to help. Anyone who could provide me a solution?

script running on Startup and Shutdown of System is not working

Steps

• Open a run box
• type in "gpedit.msc"
• Expand Computer Configuration
• Expand Windows Settings
• Select Scripts (Startup/Shutdown)
• Double click Startup
• Click Show Files and copy/paste your file in to this folder
• Click the Add button on the startup properties
• Click Browse and double click on your script to choose it.
• "OK" out of all windows to apply the new settings.

I am generally Giving Path of My python to the startup and shutdown as steps given above

 

Running a VB Script File Using Windows 10 Task Scheduler

You can invoke VB scripts through the Task Scheduler, same as batch files or .exe files. What problem do you actually have? What is the script you run? Is it supposed to be interactive?

There is little difference between cscript.exe and wscript.exe. When you run cscript.exe you will open a black Command Processor window (cmd.exe). With wscript.exe you won't. Furthermore, the instruction wscript.echo will do different things:

• Under cscript.exe: Write a line of text in the Command Processor window.
• Under wscript.exe: Generate message box.

This difference is important for scripts being invoked by the Task Scheduler.

 

Disabling the Infinitely running VB Script in Windows

I have run an infinite loop VB Script enabling NUMLOCK for 2 min in my Windows 10 OS for not allowing system to go into sleep and monitor to be continually active. Is there any possibility of disabling the running Shell/VB Script.

Note,

I tried the available options like searching for the same script in Taskmanager but couldn't find so as to disable.

I tried pressing ESC Key for 10-15 sec, not working

No Break key on my keyboard
