    RTL8812AU Realtek Nic not working


    I recently Migrated to win 11 from win 10 with the free upgrade .Ever since upgrading my Nic is not showing in devices Realtek has no win 11 drivers, however when i use a wifi usb dongle, the nic card appears in devices and all appears normal.If I check update driver it tells me the best driver is already installed.Why does this occur and why doesn't win 11 offer updated drivers for the nic?Cheers Rob

    If you did a clean install then you may have to approach the issue as hardware related.

    Since the onboard network adapter did not work in Windows 7 then I might suggest to disable the onboard in the BIOS and concentrate on trying the REALTEK RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC to work.

    For instance you could try re-seating the REALTEK RTL8139/810x Family Fast Ethernet NIC.

    I believe the issue may be driver related as that was suggested in
    this topic     with the same NIC.

    The link I referred to previously for drivers for the NIC I believe is incorrect as this should be the link:

    http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads...d=6&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false

    There is no Windows 10 driver available rom Realtek for this NIC so you may need to obtain an NIC with a Windows 10 compatible driver.

    However can you do the following:

    In the Device Manager right-click the Realtek NIC > Update Driver Software > Browse my computer for driver software > Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer

    Under "Model" what is listed including the versions?
