  1. Right Click Eject Context menu Missing For Portable USB Drives

In the past, in "this PC" I used to have a right click context menu to eject a portable USB flash drive. For some time now it has been missing. There is still the option in the "System Tray" to eject USB drives. Is there any way to get the Right click/Eject menu back in "This PC" for portable USB flash drives?Your advice would be appreciated.Kind regardsChris

  2. No Right Click Eject menu For USB Flash Drives

Thank you very much for your reply Paul. In my case the issue is different. The safely remove function in the taskbar works fine.

What has disappeared is the right click/Eject context menu for usb flash drives. I was hoping to find a way to get it back. Its there for my DVD drive but is missing from my usb drives.

    Kind regards
    Chris

  3. How do I add Eject in Context Menu for External Hard Drives?

As far as I've understood, the Eject option in the Context Menu appears only for small USB Key "Flash Drives". That option does not appear for big Mass Storage Devices. I have a 2TB and a 4TB External Hard Drives I would like to Eject by Right Clicking on the Drive Icon in Windows File Explorer.

How would I go about adding "Eject" to the Context Menu for these External Hard Drives? Is there a small Program perhaps, that can add this option to the Context Menu?

    Thanks

No EJECT entry in USB Drive's context menu

Welcome to Ten Forums. Until a better solution comes along, you should be able to eject both fixed and removable USB drives from the taskbar.
