Windows 10: reverting computer name

Im no where near tech Savvy!!!! that being stated, i just got an Asus Laptop- its touch screen, and folds all the way back. I don't know what my model is, or anything, i looked up how to change it, don't remember how i done it or got to it, but i some how changed my computer name to a shorter version of my name, and didn't even think to write down the original name, or how I done it. I didn't tell any one either. so I'm asking the internet. is there ANY way I can get my old computer name back to help me find the version/model of computer i have, so

We appreciate you getting back to us. To change the cmd name, we suggest that you follow this steps:

• Open a Command Prompt (Adimin) window: Win+X, A, Alt+Y
• Then run the following command to change your computer name to Donner: WMIC ComputerSystem where Name=COMPUTER-NAME call Rename Name=NewName
• Reboot your PC.
• Try to run ipconfig / all command, you should find that the Host Name in Windows IP Configuration list has been changed to the new name.
