    Thank you for the tutorial Shawn. I have a REQUEST. I mistakenly associated my UltraEdit text editor to DOS .CMD files, and when I double-click on a .CMD file, it opens UltraEdit instead of a DOS window. Can you create another .REG file to reset the association for DOS .CMD files? By the way, your .BAT registration file worked great. I also linked .BAT files to UltraEdit somehow.

    Its default program = unknown application. So i want to change back it from notepad to unknown application again but from the "Open with" list there's no unknown application to set as default. So... yeah can u help me how to make .json file type to unknown app again as default? Thx for reply btw

    Windows 10 doesn't have a default association for .meta files, but if you like, the .reg file below will unassociate .meta files.

    please can you do a reg file for FMF File (.fmf) to return to normal default "unknown app" again

    it would be greatly appreciated. for some reason when I was using windows 8.1 I opened a FMF file in notepad++ and now all FMF files are associated with notepad++
    I hoped upgrading to windows 10 would have reset it to its default...unknown app
