Windows 10: Repeated Application Crashes for Games on new Windows 11 Desktop Computer

Hello,I have been trying to pin down the issues causing my inability to play several different games on my new Windows 11 Desktop in the last two weeks. The main issues is as follows:1. Repeated and random Hypervisor V BSoD crashes despite not running any virtual machine on the computer.- Currently testing if turning off Virtualization on my BIOS fixes this problem and prevents future crashes- This fix does cause regular errors to be thrown in Event Viewer that the system tries to run Hypervisor V and Virtualization but fails given BIOS settings- I had initially tried troubleshooting with Dr

Desktop Computer Crashes

Hi Sumit,

My new HP desktop computer still crashes. I tried following the steps in the link above, How to add a Recovery partition in Windows - Your Windows Guide...

I am not able to complete or follow the task required to allow you to see what happened with the computer crash. I need an easier step such as a 1 2 3 or and a b c, to-do list in order for me to let you see my System logs.

Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

BSOD on new computer while gaming

I just got a new computer about a month ago. Everything is new and I get BSOD (windows 10) while gaming mostly although it sometimes happens while I'm just using the computer. Sometimes the computer doesn't BSOD and just gives me a Access Violation Error. Not sure if related.

Steps I have taken:

• Updated all drivers and bios to latest versions

• Checked ram with windows memory test to see if ram is faulty. (A stick was and it was removed waiting for replacement)

• Clean Installed Windows after finding faulty ram

• I had 2 x 2080Ti installed, I removed one, tested and then swapped cards; issue still exist
