Windows 10: Reoccurring disappearing touch pad pointer problem.

Hi all, I am yet another user experiencing the disappearing touch pad pointer problem. This stated approx 1 month ago. I have seen other posts and suggested resolutions but mine is a recurring problem which would suggested it is being caused by a reoccurring event rather than a one off problem of a corrupt file or such. I note that there are a lot of other users out there experiencing this problem so suspect there is a background task running on the affected computers that makes the arrow disappear, during which time in my case the disable/enable driver fix does not work. Mouse pointer fails after login then disappears when I use the touch screen on Windows 10

The mouse and touch pad works fine as I'm logging in on my ASUS tp300la but as windows finishes loading after login the mouse pointer freezes as if the touch pad completely disables. As I resort to using the touch screen and tap the screen, it disappears.
Any help on getting my touch pad or mouse pointer back? Note I hadn't had this problem on windows 8 prior to installation of windows 10. Now after a touch pad update the mouse pointer and touch pad no longer works.
