Windows 10: Remove MSIL/MediaArena

HelloWindows Defender has notified 3 high threats requiring action, arriving all on the same day and time. On clicking 'remove' nothing appears to happen. I have done offline scans too including in safe mode and have also checked the CrogramData/Microsoft/WindowsDefender/Scans Folder - which has NO directory History/Service , neither are there any subdirectories in the Quarantine folder. Hovering the mouse indicates both folders are empty.I was advised to use the ADW Cleaner free download but am unsure if this is OK.Can anyone please suggest whether I do have something buried that need atten

We have been trying to unsuccessfully clean this (BrowserModifier:MSIL/MediaArena) off my PC using Defender and the online version too. It was successfully removed our other PC. I've tried to find information online and but feel very unsure what to trust. Some threads suggest it may not be there but is still in protection history, others say I need to remove unwanted add-ons. I'm not tech minded and would be grateful for help. I've searched my downloads and programs and cannot find anything.

Both folder were stated as empty so there was nothing to clear.

No joy. My security still says action needed to remove MSIL/Media Arena

Is there anything else I can try?
