Recovery Key not working / Automatic Repair couldn't repair

Out of the blue when restarting my laptop recently the BitLocker screen came up asking for the recovery key. I never put a recovery key myself but I was able to login to my Microsoft account and following the instructions on the BitLocker page, and I found the key. It dates from when I bought this laptop However, when I enter the recovery key it goes through a quick diagnosis/repair process and brings me to another blue screen that says Automatic Repair couldn't repair your PC. I've played around with several options after hitting Advanced options and nothing helpsHelp please? Thanks in advance

    :)

Recovery. Your pc or device needs to be repaired

    Hi,

To address your concern, we suggest that you run the Windows Startup repair. To do that, follow these steps:

    • Using you installation media, access the Windows recovery environment.
    • Select Troubleshoot
    • Choose Advanced option
    • Choose Automatic Repair or Startup Repair.
    • Once done, your system will restart.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

  3. Startup repair couldn''t repair my pc BSOD error code 0xc0000221

I am getting a BSOD (Blue Screen Of Death) Startup repair couldn't repair my pc and when I tried to reset the pc wont repair the problems used all the troubleshooting tools which didn't work. Won't let me boot into safe mode. After I go though all the steps i get the screen Recovery Your PC/Device needs to be repaired. The header checksum for this file doesn't match the computed checksum Error code 0xc0000221. You will need recovery tools. If you don't have any installation media (like a disk or or USB device) contact your administrator (which is me). I downloaded a windows 10 iso file on a dvd. How would I be able to repair this? Could I boot into dvd and reinstall windows 10 with keeping my files, or use recovery tools?
