Windows 10: Receiving Failure Error for 2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for...

I can't get the Windows 11 update KB5053598 to complete. It downloads and installs to 100% but then the "Updates Failed" error message appears.I have ran the trouble shooter, tried to install manually and tried other suggested fixes through the cmd prompt... to no avail.Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions? Screenshots attached.

Why would an in-place Upgrade solve this problem? I did all the steps listed here but not the in-place update. The error I see in the Windows update window is "Download error - 0x8024401c" for 2023-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5023706). Its been logging this error since 3/17/2023

Note that on 2/15 everything seemed fine:

2023-02 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5022845)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

2023-02 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022497)

Successfully Installed on 2/15/2023

 

Windows 11, version 24H2 install error

Trying to download and install Windows 11, version 24H2 from windows update give error code:

0x80246019

What can I do? Thanks.
