Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless 802.11n Cannot Start

So, I turned on my laptop today and could not connect to the Internet. So, naturally I troubleshoot it. After trouble shooting it, I get two errors saying.

    "Problems Found

The Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO Network Adapter adapter is experiencing driver- or hardware related problems -- Not fixed "

After that, I then view my network properties and all the properties are saying "Not Operational" and my "ConnectivityIPv4/IPv6: Disconnected". After that, I go to device management and see that my Realtek has an error and click on it and it says in General "This device cannot start. Code 10

STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE" then I move to events and it says

    "9/14/2020 5:26:16 PM Device deleted

    9/14/2020 5:28:02 PM Device configured oem26.inf

9/14/2020 5:28:08 PM Device not started RtlWlans"

So, I was lost from the very beginning, but now I'm even more lost.

    :)

Acer Switch 10 Broadcom 802.11abgn wireless SDIO cannot start after upgrading to Windows 10 Creator's edition.

Have you tried the latest driver?

    I can find this:

    http://www.driver-wireless.com/broadcom-802-11n...

Is the adapter hidden? Device manager>View>Hidden devices.

If so unhide & try to update the driver.

    I hope this helps.

  4. Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless 802.11n Cannot Start

No Windows 10 driver support for Realtek RTL8723BS Bluetooth Audio

This problem was reported in 2014. I have a Nextbook Flexx 11 which came with Windows 10 and the Realtek RTL8723BS Wireless LAN 802.11n SDIO network adapter.

This Windows tablet has had network problems since day one, regardless of Windows updates. We have 105MB/sec. Unfortunately, none of our wireless devices get better than 70mb/sec. The Nextbook gets, on average, between 1.5 to 5.5 mb/sec and just doesn't
respond at all about half the time. The Nextbook support site and technical support phone lines are of no help whatsoever. Their recommendation was to reset to factory defaults, and,, when that did not help, their response was "sorry".

As a result, I am checking other sites to find a solution. I'm starting by just posting a "me too" on this driver behavior with Windows. My problem is I can't use another driver so I've got to find a way to make this work.

I'm hoping other Nextbook users respond to this post and that it helps us to get updated, working drivers from Realtek.
