Windows 10: Realtek high definition audio not showing up in device manager

I just got a new PSU and now my headphones and speakers wont connect. I've reinstalled the latest driver from my MoBo's website https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/B450-AORUS-PRO-WIFI-rev-1x/support#support-dl-driverIt also doesn't show up in device manager. I've checked the hidden devices but still no I can only use my monitor's speakers. Please help :<MoBo: B450 Aorus Pro Wifi

Device manager only showing High definition audio

When I go to device manager, unde the audio tab, I only have AMD high definition audio and High definition audio. I installed realtek drivers but they are not showing up there. Basically realtek drivers make no difference whether they are installed or
not. Does realtek work on any computer?

 

Realtek High Definition Audio and High Definition Audio Device missing

Basic info:
I'm using a Dell G5 15 gaming notebook with Windows 10 for about half a year. Pretty early on I got sound problems such as occasional static sound, static sound when playing yt video and a game at the same time and such. I found a fix to this by going to the Device Manager and changing High Definition Audio Device to Realtek High Definition Audio which would fix it for some time and then I'd have to do it again.
Problem:
But now I don't have Realtek High Definition Audio nor High Definition Audio Device in the device manager, I only have Realtek Audio. ( and Intel display audio, NVIDIA high definition audio, NVIDIA virtual audio device, but I don't think these are relevant) So the sound is low quality, muffled and there's the occasional static sound. I tried installing Realtek High Definition Audio driver from the original Dell G5 15 site, so it should be compatible, the installation goes well, but there is no change in the actual audio. Looking for help on how to fix this. Thanks

 

Realtek High Definition Audio not working

First of all, the Realtek High Definition Audio Device did not automatically reinstall after uninstalling and rebooting. I had to go into Add Legacy Software and select it to install. The Device Manager crashed while installing it, which it always does.
Upon starting it up again, the Device is there, but with a warning sign next to it indicating it is not functional.

Second of all, when I did the rest of the steps, the Driver Manager told me specifically that the drivers for Realtek High Definition Audio Device are up to date.
