Windows 10: Realtek High Definition Audio Driver not working after Windows 11 update

I can't hear anything anymore. It still picks up my mic in my headset but it doesn't play any sound. Tried different headsets. Other sound outputs work fine. I tried updating the driver a bunch of ways, then tried uninstalling and reinstalling to find that it won't reinstall with this error -Install failure{Error code: -0001}No driver supported in this driver package.CyberPower PC with AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 8-Core Processor

NOT WORKING-Realtek audio drivers and Microsoft High Definition device

I've seen some videos which just tell you to update Realtek HD driver to the Microsoft driver. Sometimes it works for a while then it stops working. I just go into Device Manager>Sound, video and game controllers> Realtek High Definition audio (right click)>
Update driver software> Browse from my computer> Let me pick from a list of drivers on my computer> High Definition audio device. It should update.

Realtek High-Definition Audio Device vs Realtek Audio

When I go to Device Manager > Sound Video and Game controllers my Dell XPS 8940 has the Realtek Audio driver (version 6.0.9228.1, 8/24/2021) installed. If I click Update driver > Browse my computer for Drivers > Let me pick from a list . . ., two "models" are listed under compatible hardware: High Definition Audio Device (HDAD) and Realtek Audio. When I try to use the HDAD, Windows (11) warns me that "Installing this driver is not recommended because Windows cannot verify that it is compatible with your hardware. Et cetera.

Do I NOT have an HDAD in my computer?
