This has been a consistent problem for months now. The past six months these drivers have uninstalled themselves four times, and each time fixes that work in the past don't work now.I have an MSI GS63 Stealth, and Realtek has completely disappeared from device manager.Upon starting windows, there is an X in a circle over the volume icon and it says "no audio devices found." Attempts to reinstall from the manufacturer's driver website don't work.Registry editing ConsoleSecurity doesn't work.Reverting Windows updates doesn't work.Attempting to add legacy drivers not only doesn't work, gives me a

  2. Realtek Audio Manager No Longer Available in Device Manager

Funny thing happened after this past Wednesday's Windows 10 update. The Realtek Audio Manager which I've been using for years is no longer listed or available in Device Manager. Anywhere. Realtek HD audio is enabled in startup.

When I select 5.1 sound in the "Configure Speakers" tab in the Sound/Playback window I have no sound other than for the Front Left/Right speakers. The Center, Subwoofer and two rear speakers show the little animation that you get when you test the speakers
    but nothing is heard.

I've used the MSI utility to re-install the Realtek HD Audio Drivers for my motherboard. No change.

    Anyone have any ideas?

  3. Headphones do not show up when Realtek is installed

OK, so this happened to me on my laptop. It wanted to use the realtek drivers no matter what. Let me show you what to do.
Step 1. Open the start menu and type 'Device Manager' in the search bar. Click on the result.

    Step 2.

Now click on the button that says 'Roll back driver'.
If the button is dimmed, make sure your Realtek drivers are currently installed.

Step 6. If you did it correctly, the system should ask you to restart to finish. If it does then you finished the tutorial correctly!
Once restarted, Open device manager again using step 1. Expand the 'sound, video and game controllers' category again.

Step 7. If it says 'High Definition Audio Device' then you did it right. Here's a pic for example purposes:

Realtek doesn't show up in device manager, no audio

Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

Do you have DTS and Dolby in the list under Advanced in the Realtek Optical playback device (not the Realtek Audio Manager)?
