Windows 10: Realtek Audio Enhancement Tab Is Missing, High Definition Audio Device is also missing.

I disabled and updated the audio driver, but this did not work.I also browsed through some past solutions, and saw a possible solution to change the driver from "Realtek High Definition Audio" to "High Definition Audio Device."So, I tried to change to the "High Definition Audio Device" but I don't have this as a driver option. I only have the "Realtek High Definition Audio" driver.I also tried going to intel and realtek's official websites to download the latest drivers there, to no avail.Please help, I would love options to get my audio enhancements tab back.Thanks for your help in advance.

Realtek Audio Enhancement Tab Suddenly Missing

Dear Andre,

You saved me! It worked! The only thing I did different was that an old version of Realtek was listed, so I chose that over the
“High definition audio device”. When I started to select, “High definition audio device” a warning message said that it could cause hardware problems and make things stop working so I got scared off. Do you think it really would have been
safe to use? Anyway, I am so happy to have my enhancement tab back.

Audio Enhancements Tab Missing

Hi, Control Panel, Device Manager and you'll see sthg like this:




Mine's Realtek.

Or rt click the sound icon in your system tray, click Playback Devices. Again I can see Realtek. You may have something else.

Or you can use this freeware program e.g.




If yours is, the way I solved that was to download the driver from Realtek's site.

Realtek High Definition Audio and High Definition Audio Device missing

Hello,
Basic info:
I'm using a Dell G5 15 gaming notebook with Windows 10 for about half a year. Pretty early on I got sound problems such as occasional static sound, static sound when playing yt video and a game at the same time and such. I found a fix to this by going to the Device Manager and changing High Definition Audio Device to Realtek High Definition Audio which would fix it for some time and then I'd have to do it again.
Problem:
But now I don't have Realtek High Definition Audio nor High Definition Audio Device in the device manager, I only have Realtek Audio. ( and Intel display audio, NVIDIA high definition audio, NVIDIA virtual audio device, but I don't think these are relevant) So the sound is low quality, muffled and there's the occasional static sound. I tried installing Realtek High Definition Audio driver from the original Dell G5 15 site, so it should be compatible, the installation goes well, but there is no change in the actual audio. Looking for help on how to fix this. Thanks
